The Preschool will be hosting an Open Classroom – Tues. Jan. 24

This year we are offering an “Open  Classroom” experience rather than an Open House to introduce our school to other families in the community.  We will be open for visitors on Tuesday, January 24 and Wednesday, January 25 from 8 am to 12 noon.  Parents (and children) are welcome to come observe and participate any time during these mornings.  Please help us spread the word to family and friends by distributing our flyer.

2011-2012 Preschool Session Begins

The 2011 -2012 School Year begins on Monday, August 29th.  We have openings in each of our classes. Classes are from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.  We offer Extended Care before and after school starting at 7:00am and ending at 6:00 pm.

Classes are held on:  Monday, Wednesday & Friday; Tuesday & Thursday, or Monday through Friday.  To secure a place for your child please submit an  Application Form and $100 non-refundable deposit.  If you have any questions – please call Rev Judi in the preschool office at 408-629-1843.

Registration for the 2011—2012 School Year is now open.
Students must be 3 by Dec. 3rd, 2011, and toilet trained.
Classes being offered this fall are 8:30am—11:30am on:
Monday through Friday
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
Tuesday, Thursday
Extended care is available from 7am to 6 pm

For Returning Students

The School Office does not need all registration forms for returning students that we require for new students. Please check the on-line list of enrollment forms, and find the Application Package for Returning Students. That is the set of documents that Judi Sato needs to receive in the church office. We should have this documentation by the first day of school, September 7th.

Meet the Teacher Night

August 27, 2010 was a great event! We had wonderful participation by the students and parents. Mrs Horn and Mrs Nielsen have done a wonderful job with the new layout of the classroom. Here is a photo of the new layout.

Dear Parents;

We are delighted and honored that you are considering St. Stephen’s Parish Preschool for the beginning of the formal educational development of your child. Our objective is to provide a solid base of supervised and carefully designed social interaction, encouragement in self discovery of gifts and abilities, and the building of a positive experience from the joy of learning.

The St. Stephen’s church community has been an integral member of this neighborhood for over 35 years. In 1978 this church opened its pre-school, St. Stephen’s School, which eventually became independent and expanded to provide preschool through 8th grade educations to thousands of students through its 30 year history.

We are the proud forebearer, and now the successor of that rich tradition of education and caring for our children. Indeed, we join with you in ‘celebrating our children’s future’.
